April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and Student Life is sponsoring three events for a better understanding of gender, misconceptions, and preventing sexual assaults.

On Monday, April 4 at noon in Hill Theatre, join Student Life and Victim Services for a presentation of Can I Kiss You.

One simple way to make sure your partner is on the same page as you? Ask first.

Through humor and honesty, the Can I Kiss You presentation offers tools for healthy dating and teaching skills to prevent sexual assault. This is an engaging presentation that provides students with real solutions to tough conversations on dating, intimacy, and sexual assault.

This addresses why “asking first” makes all the difference, and then the presenters help with the “how” to asking first. You will also discover how to properly provide support to survivors of sexual assault.

Can I Kiss You is presented as part of the national campaign to end sexual assault. Please contact courtney.thoreson@rctc.edu or 507-285-7204 if you have questions or would like more information.
