Club Day Being Held Sept. 20

Student Life’s Annual Fall Club Day is Tuesday, Sept. 20, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Atrium.

This is a great time to connect with the 30 chartered clubs and programs that RCTC has available and to learn about the many extracurricular options available to students in the form of clubs. It’s also a great time to check out if your interests are represented. If they aren’t, you are able to form your own club and receive funding from Student Life.

Being a member of a student club is not only a way to get involved. Employers are looking a lot more closely at what their prospective employees did outside the classroom in terms of involvement, leadership, and service. If you can combine all those benefits with an activity that fits an area of personal interests for you, and which allows you to have fun and meet other students with similar interests, all the better.

The clubs will host activities and displays, and the club representatives will be present to provide information and answer questions.
