Travis Frank of Caledonia, MN is a two-time high school state football champion. When asked what it was like to win a college state championship versus winning a high school state championship, Frank explained:

“In high school everyone is already best friends and you’ve been playing with them since you started playing the game. It was always special playing in front of your whole community. But in college you start off barely knowing anyone, and you see yourself grow with your teammates, forming a brotherhood week after week, as well as becoming a better football player, and person in general.”

Coach Bill Quistorff was named NJCAA Region 13 Coach of the Year following the State Championship game.

“This should read COACHES OF THE YEAR because this is one of the most amazing coaching staffs in the country due to the passion that we all share for our program, our players and the game of football!”

With the Yellowjackets winning both the MCAC Conference & State titles, they earned themselves a bowl berth. RCTC will play in the Graphic Edge Bowl v. Iowa Central on December 8th at 11 am. The game will be played at the University of Northern Iowa’s dome in Cedar Falls, IA.

With 12 national champions, two Hall of Fame coaches and more than 190 All Americans since 1957, you can Expect Champions at RCTC.
