Hubbard Broadcasting presents check to RCTC
President Leslie McClellon and Dezz Lewis, RCTC Foundation Interim Director of Donor Relations, received a $1,500 scholarship check from Hubbard Broadcasting Foundation, which was personally presented by the ABC 6 News Team on Friday, February 6th. In addition, they also got to try their hands at broadcasting the news and were provided with a grand tour of the new ABC 6 News Rochester studio located at the TJ Maxx Plaza.
We are grateful for KAAL – ABC 6 News’s gift to the RCTC Foundation’s ABC 6 News Scholarship available to a student pursuing a major in Mass Communications at Rochester Community and Technical College.
The applicant must be currently enrolled in or has completed 6 credits in Mass Communications at RCTC and will be required to create and submit a news package to the RCTC Foundation on a current topic of a local news nature. The news package must include audio and visual components, be 2-5 minutes in length, and be submitted on a video DVD or Blu-ray by Feb. 23rd.
