STUDENT SUCCESS DAY
All RCTC students are invited and encouraged to attend the Student Success Day on Wednesday, September 13 from 9:00am-2:00pm.  Check in is at 8:15am in the Atrium.  The schedule is:

  •  8:15 – Check-in in the Atrium – Bring your Student ID!
  • 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 – Sessions
  • 12:00 – Campus Expo and Free Lunch in the Sports Center
  • 1:00 – Free Performance in the Sports Center – Cirque Zuma Zuma
  • 2:30 – 4:00 – Meet with Faculty to discuss your progress
  • 5:30 – 6:00 – Evening Expo in the Atrium
  • 6:00 and 7:00 – Evening Sessions

REAL COLLEGE SURVEY
RCTC is participating in the #Real College survey sponsored by the Wisconsin Hope Lab at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. All students received an e-mail from InstitutionalResearch@rctc.edu with an invitation to participate in the survey. Students will also receive additional e-mails as a reminder about the opportunity to participate in the survey. After completing the survey, you can enter a drawing to receive one of ten $100 awards that will be given away to RCTC students.

Survey results are confidential and the information shared will help us find solutions to support your success.

ATHLETIC ACTIVITIES
It’s free to attend the games with your stinger ID! Support the intercollegiate athletic teams at RCTC!  Check the athletics site for upcoming home games www.rctc.edu/yellowjackets.com.

OPEN GYM
Open gym began on August 28 and runs through the last day of the Spring Semester. Daily hours are from 10:00am-2:00pm Tuesday-Friday during if supervision is available. For additional information, visit the website at: www.rctc.edu/studentlife/opengym.html.

FITNESS CENTER
A 3,000 square foot Fitness Center is equipped with many cardiovascular health stations and exercise equipment as well as adjacent space for free weights and weight machines for cardio equipment, circuit and weight training. The Fitness Center is located in the Regional Sports complex and is available for current RCTC students to utilize at no charge.   To use the Fitness Center, students must first read and agree to the terms and conditions, which are available on the web and will need to present a current student id and pass.  Call (507) 285-7273 for additional information or visit the website at:  http://www.rctcyellowjackets.com/facilities/sports-center

ROC! RECOVERY ON CAMPUS
ROC! is a bi-weekly peer support group for individuals in recovery from alcohol or drug addiction.
ROC! is a chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous for anyone ages 18-25.  We meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

ROC! is open to the public.
