FINANCIAL AID – APPLY EARLY FOR 2016-17
It’s time again to apply for financial aid. Although we accept applications throughout the year, the PRIORITY DEADLINE for Fall Semester 2016 is April 15, 2016. Students who complete their files by this deadline will have an award letter prior to the first disbursement date.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (or FAFSA), is the application all RCTC students are required to complete to be considered for any type of Financial Aid Grants, Work Study or Loan funding. Students must complete a new FAFSA for each year they wish to apply for Financial Aid.
We encourage all students to complete their FAFSA online. Visit www.fafsa.ed.gov to begin your application for financial aid. RCTC’s Federal school code is #002373. The application is also available in Financial Aid Office.
The Department of Financial Aid at RCTC is ready to assist you with any questions or guidance in filling out forms. Office hours are 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday and the phone number is (507) 285-7271.
