Student Emergency Fund starts March 14

The RCTC Student Emergency Fund helps current RCTC students when unexpected emergency expenses arise, starting March 14, 2016. The money is not available during the summer term, and students must be a Pell grant recipient to be eligible for the funds.
Accidents, illnesses, death of a family member, car repair, transportation, back-up child care, and temporary housing are just some of the situations this fund can help cover. Expenses not covered include: tuition, fees, books, health insurance, tools, non-essential utilities (like cable), parking tickets, entertainment, recreation, non-emergency travel, and other non-essential expenses.
Stop by the Counseling/Advising department (SS133) to meet with a counselor or advisor to learn more about this fund and other on- and off-campus resources.
