The RCTC Volleyball team ended the season with a huge accomplishment – for the first time ever, the Yellowjackets have won a first-place title in the NJCAA Division III National Tournament!
The Yellowjackets went in to the tournament as the fourth seed on Friday, Nov. 13, taking on fifth seed Lorain for the first match in the quarterfinals. In the fourth game, after Lorain gained the lead, the Yellowjackets had a 7-point run to pull ahead, then won the set and match 25-23.

Madison won set one 25-22, and the Yellowjackets responded with a win of their own with set two, 25-23. Madison took set three 25-15, and RCTC took set four 25-18. The fifth set would decide who went to finals. After trailing 8-11, the Yellowjackets came back to win 16-14.
